The Foundation is in the process of adopting 20 Para Cricketers, offering them not just financial aid but a platform to shine. With the support of corporate sponsors and renowned Indian Cricket players, we have garnered crucial backing for the PCCAI (Para Cricket Council of India). Through these collaborations, we are able to provide the players with the resources, training, and exposure needed to excel on an international stage.
The Sai Baba Peace Foundation has organized several high-profile matches featuring the PCCAI Team against teams from Pakistan, South Africa, Afghanistan, and England—giving these athletes a global platform to showcase their talent and determination. “Mission Made Possible” is a powerful ten-part series that brings to light the inspiring journeys of India’s para-athletes, who made India’s remarkable achievement at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games possible. This initiative, led by the Shirdi Sai Baba Foundation under the guidance of Aushim Khetarpal, aims to honor not only the medal-winning athletes but also the many para-athletes who have represented India on the global stage, overcoming immense challenges to achieve greatness.
Airing from September 5th to September 14th, 2022, on Sony TEN 2 and streaming on Sony Liv, the series delves deep into the lives of India’s para-Olympians, showcasing their determination, resilience, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
The series features celebrated athletes like Yogesh Kathuniya (Discus Throw), Neeraj Yadav (Javelin), Sundar Singh Gurjar (Javelin), Simran Vats (Track & Field), Vijay Kumar (Athletics), Pushpinder (Athletics), Rohit Hooda (Discus Throw), Vinay Kumar (Sprinter, 200m and 400m), Amit Kumar (Long & Short Jump), and Arvind Singh (Shot Put, Discus Throw, and Javelin), offering a rare insight into the challenges they faced and their extraordinary achievements.
Season 2 of Mission Made Possible is coming soon and promises to be even more inspiring, featuring many legendary para-athletes, including Manoj Sarkar, the badminton champion; Shekar Naik, the blind cricketer; Rubina Francis, the Olympic medalist; and Sighraj Adhana, the Olympic double medalist para-shooter. Season 2 will showcase the incredible stories of these and many other legendary para-athletes who have shattered barriers and set new standards for excellence in their respective sports.
